520 3 |a We report a new half-life value of 205Bi. During measurements of cross sections for the production of residual radionuclides in proton-induced reactions on lead and bismuth a discrepancy was recognised between the published half-life of 205Bi and our experimental results. In this work, the value for the half-life of 205Bi was determined to be (14.91±0.07) days, based on measurements on 33 irradiated lead samples.
