For this purpose, using the special iterative process, we derive estimates of the first and second derivatives of the critical parameters with respect to the values of density in various medium subdomains. The 'method of maximal cross section' substantially simplifies geometric calculations. We give sufficiently wide conditions for finiteness of the estimates variances. Besides, to estimate the moments studied we construct the simple probabilistic model of the transport process in an infinite medium with additional absorption probability dependent on the random density. The computational results given in the paper show the practical efficiency of the estimates derived.
