   <subfield code="a">The doping and temperature dependence of the magnetic field penetration depth in cuprate superconductors is studied based on the kinetic energy driven superconducting mechanism. It is shown that the magnetic field penetration depth shows a crossover from the linear temperature dependence at low temperatures to a nonlinear one in the extremely low temperatures.</subfield>
