   <subfield code="a">A pulsed 4.8 MeV neutron beam was used to determine measurement sensitivities of eight elements in tibia or liver phantoms, using neutron inelastic scattering reactions. P, Mg, Si and Na were determined to normal tibia lovels, whilst the Cu, Fe and Zn determinations in the liver phantom would be suitable for overload cases. Measurements of F and Mg showed improvement over other nuclear techniques. Beam pulsing optimization indicated slightly improved response at shorter neutron pulses.</subfield>
