   <subfield code="a">Conclusions: We studied the effect of prior heat treatment and mechanical activation of powders on the degree of densification during the firing process. It is advisable to carry out combined vibrational milling of magnesium aluminate and chromite in the desire proportions for a period of 1 h. In order to establish the technological parameters for obtaining dense compacts, a complete factoral experiment (CFE) consisting of 24 elements was carried out. We obtained algorithms that make it possible to determine the dependence of the physical and technological properties of the compacts belonging to the MgAl2O4-MgAl2O4 system on the compaction pressure, the MgAl2O4 content in the charge, and the firing temperature.</subfield>
