   <subfield code="a">An interesting feature of compound nucleus reactions is that they enhance violations of fundamental symmetries (parity and time reversal). This fact has repeatedly been pointed out in the framework of a two-resonancemodel. Two resonances — isolated from all others — do not exist in nuclei. Here, this objection is investigated in a statistical sense. It is shown that the two-level-model yields results that are partly identical, partly quite similar to those from the multi-level-model.</subfield>
