   <subfield code="a">The flow rate of molten arsenic selenide in annular-cylindrical channels was measured as a function of temperature and excess gas pressure over the melt. The outer diameter of the channels was varied from 9.1 to 11.8 mm, the inner diameter was 4.1 to 7.6 mm, and the channel length was 120 mm. The temperature was varied from 290 to 315°C, and the excess pressure of an inert gas was up to 1.5 × 105 Pa. The results demonstrate that, as in the case of circular channels, there is a threshold pressure above which the melt begins to flow through the channel. The experimental data are interpreted in terms of the Bingham rheological model for viscoplastic fluids.</subfield>
