   <subfield code="a">Conclusions: -- It has been shown that the method of applying lubricant during the process of lap formation with aerodynamic yarn stretching and the device for applying lubricant are characterized by simplicity and convenience in operation of equipment for preparing nonwoven materials from PP. -- The use of an aqueous glycerin solution ensures obtaining nonwoven geotextile materials which in physicomechanical properties approach the properties of materials prepared using the lubricants Sintox-20M, Tepräm-6, or Leomin-LS. -- The advisability of applying an aqueous glycerin solution between layers of fibres which form the PP lap by use of spraying nozzles has been demonstrated; this ensures obtaining nonwoven geotextile under manufacturing conditions which conform to the requirements of Technical Specification 6-06-S254-88 at a glycerin content in the material of 2-4% by wt. and a punching density of (200-220)104 m−2. The use of an aqueous glycerin solution does not impair sanitary-hygienic conditions in the working positions. -- Mathematical models have been obtained which connect up the physicomechanical properties of nonwoven material made from PP with lubricant content and punching density.</subfield>
