   <subfield code="a">The results are presented of examination of the relationships governing formation of the structure of foils of an aluminum-beryllium alloy after annealing. The effect of annealing on the variation of internal stresses in A- and Be-components of the alloy is determined. The methods of mathematical experiment design are used to derive the dependence of the mechanical properties on annealing temperature and time and to determine the effect of structural parameters on mechanical properties of foils. The mechanism of hardening and failure of the foils is examined. Results can be used to control the structure and properties and produce foils with the required physicomechanical characteristics.</subfield>
