   <subfield code="a">The article deals with the nonaxisymmetric state of stress of shells with the middle surface in the form of a surface of revolution and with thickness varying in two directions. For that an approach is used that is based on resolving the rigidities of the shell by the parameter. In the presented example the convergence of the suggested method in dependence on the circumferential variability of the thickness is investigated.</subfield>
