   <subfield code="a">Abstract.: We study the internal stress and strain state of composite laminate in the long-wave approximation. We imply no restrictions on the anisotropy type and layup, study the dynamics, perform the asymptotic analysis and classify the models. The main attention is focused on the problem of connected bending and stretching, caused by the anisotropy and the asymmetry of layup. In statics, the solving methods for the boundary value problems are suggested. Similarly to the classical statements, the applications of the functions of complex variable, and of the boundary integral equations are developed. Despite the coupling, the class of all regions, for which the analytical solutions of separate problems are known, is embraced automatically by modified tools. Several exact solutions for the canonical regions of laminates are presented.</subfield>
