   <subfield code="a">The problem of determining the parameters of the field of a cylindrical absorbing radiator was solved for the case where the detection point is located within the end face outside the volume of the radiator, including in the presence of flat shielding. A program for numerically integrating the expression obtained was developed. The results of a calculation of the position of the dose rate isolines were presented for two nonabsorbing radiators of relative height 0.1 and 1.4 figures, 2 references.</subfield>
