   <subfield code="a">A model and method are suggested for calculating the cooling and freezing of a rectangular block of fish as applied to rotory freezing units. A Fourier dimensionless heat-conduction equation is formulated with allowance for the variable character of the thermophysical properties of the object to be frozen. The presented results of the calculation carried out by the finite-difference method are in agreement with the experimental data.</subfield>
