   <subfield code="a">Theoretical aspects of electromagnetic field topology measurements are discussed. The many advantages of this field characteristic in the description of complex three-dimensional fields are proved. The heuristic value of this approach is that it offers a possibility of creating ultrafast (subpicosecond) logic gates for topologically modulated signals serving as a base of pulse measurement devices. The possibility of parallel measurement of field topology is shown.</subfield>
