   <subfield code="a">A key direction in the modification of Russian air navigation system is the implementation of tools for supporting decision making both by controllers and pilots. This requires the development of new algorithms that take into account the improved provision with information and new principles and concepts of air traffic management (ATM). Algorithms for the detection and resolution of conflict situations between aircraft are proposed and justified. These algorithms are designed to support the crew under the conditions of self-separation.</subfield>
