| 520 | 3 | |a It was shown that complex oxide compounds of bismuth(III) BiPO4, K5Bi5(PO4)6, K2Bi(PO4)(MoO4), KBi(MoO4)2, K5Bi(MoO4)4, and BiVO4 doped with europium(III) exhibit high-intensity luminescence in the red region of the spectrum. It was found that the intensity ratio of the luminescence bands for the 5D0→7F2 and 5D0→7F1 transitions increases with increase in the degree of deformation of the BiO8 coordination polyhedra. The effect of the degree of deformation of the Bi IIIO8 coordination polyhedron on the intensity of the bands in the photoluminescence spectra of the studied compounds at room temperature was analyzed. | |
