520 3 |a The diffusion deposition of aerosol nanoparticles in model highly porous filters composed of equidistant rows of fibers, which are oriented normal to a flow and form ordered two-dimensional square and hexagonal structures, has been studied at low Reynolds numbers. Efficiencies η of particle collection on the fibers have been calculated as depending on number N of the rows of fibers in a wide range of Peclet numbers. It has been shown that the diffusion wake has a stronger effect for the model with the square structure, and a reduction in the average values of η with a rise in N, as compared with η for an isolated row, becomes more pronounced with an increase in the Peclet diffusion number.
