520 3 |a The structural, adsorption, and electrokinetic properties of powders of sodium-borosilicate porous glasses (PGs) with different structures and morphologies of the pore space, as well as the properties of diaphragms formed from these powders, have been studied as depending on pH (in a range of 4-9) and NaCl solution concentrations (10−3-1 M). The determined structural parameters of the porous glasses indicate that meso- and macroporous glass particles with a layered-porous structure, a rather narrow pore size distribution, and a high total porosity have been obtained. It has been found that the surface and electrokinetic characteristics of the studied PGs fall into the range of the values reported in the literature for analogous interfaces. The results of measuring the electrophoretic mobility for porous particles and the streaming potential for the diaphragms formed from the PG particles have been analyzed and compared.
