520 3 |a We consider a cylindrical shell that undergoes a small deformation caused by a running flow of a gas. The action of the gas on the shell is described by the "piston” theory. The study of the stability of axisymmetric oscillations of the system is performed on the basis of the Lyapunov-Movchan theorem. For some cases, we find a critical speed.
