In dem vorliegenden Artikel stellen wir die Arbeit des "International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement" (ICHOM) und die validierte deutsche Übersetzung des EPIC-26 ("expanded prostate cancer index composite") vor. Dieser Fragebogen ermöglicht eine einheitliche Erhebung der Behandlungsqualität fächerübergreifend für alle Therapiemodalitäten des lokalisierten Prostatakarzinoms. Mittels des ICHOM-Standardsets und des EPIC-26 wird eine Vergleichsmöglichkeit hinsichtlich der kurativen Erfolge der jeweiligen Therapien und der Effekt auf die Gesundheit und Lebensqualität der Patienten geschaffen. | |
