   <subfield code="a">The purification of depleted waste uranium hexafluoride with 235U concentration 0.2-0.4% in the intermediate product flow of a cascade in whose final product low-enrichment uranium is produced from natural uranium is examined. It is shown that the waste flow of commercial natural and reprocessed uranium hexafluoride can be purified by removing 232,234,236U by feeding it into the first step of the cascade or into a step that minimizes the total feed flow of the steps. A quality diluent for high-enrichment uranium and commercial natural and low-enrichment commercial uranium hexafluoride, which satisfy the ASTM requirements with respect to 232,234,236U, can be produced from the purified product obtained in the intermediate product.</subfield>
