   <subfield code="a">An alternative variant of adjusting nuclear cross sections on the basis of experiments is presented. The general scheme of making adjustments is based on a generalized least-squares method, which is used in, specifically, the well-known system LEPRICON. Experiments performed on the FKBM-N stand were used for making adjustments. The results of adjustment with different combinations of experiments, including autonomous adjustments (experiments in one series) and pooling of experiments from two and three series, showed that the integral parameter keff lies closer to 1.000 than the initial computed values. The adjusted differential parameters (group macro sections), introduced into the CASK initial library of group constants, secure values closer to experiment, i.e., the optimal computed estimates of keff.</subfield>
