   <subfield code="a">In this paper, we report the obtention of two copper (I) metal-organic complexes [Cu(LH)2Cl] 1 and [Cu2L2]n 2 (LH=2-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10] phenanthroline) by hydrothermal processing and structural characterization by elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, single-crystal X-ray diffraction and theoretical calculations in Gaussian 09. The pH value of the reaction plays a key role in controlling the structures of the metal-organic complexes. Based on the structures of 1 and 2, we found that the pH influence on the structure of the complexes is, in fact, high pH value will favor the complex 2 produced.</subfield>
