   <subfield code="a">This article reports on the quantitative analysis of morphological and photoluminescence properties of porous anodic alumina generated by different concentrations of sulfuric acid. Two-dimensional fast Fourier transform was used to study the regularity of structures. The influences of sulfuric acid concentration on other structural features including pore circularity, diameter and porosity were investigated extensively. The photoluminescence spectra show two emission bands, at 400 and 475nm, which can be assigned to two luminescence centers, F+ and F, respectively. The relationship between morphology of porous anodic alumina and its photoluminescence intensity ratio of F-F+ centers was determined and explained.</subfield>
